In August the Quare Fella (aka John Kealy) and myself were on the road again. This time we headed to Donegal. a long journey but a spectacular county.

Crohy Head Sea Arch is not easy to get to. A steep climb down to sea level and then a battle with the incoming tide - in which I got soaked up to waist high in order to get this shot. But it was worth it. A change of clothes is always important when seascape shooting and thankfully I had plenty older clothes to change into later.

This was a bye the way 5 second shot while waiting for John to finish shooting and it turned out to be one of my favourite shots of the 3 day shoot. It is of a seastack to the left as you look seaward to the more famous Crohy Head Arch.

The weather at Glencolumcille was awful but it didn’t deter us. Hear John is shooting in the rain without a coat or umbrella while I set up behind him in coat and under umbrella. The wild Atlantic way certainly earned its name that day and the seas …

Port Salin Beach which is on the southern section of Fanad Peninsula and looking across at Malin Head. There was some lovely wave action between the rocks here and a beautiful beach as well
